Yes, Wallz is completely free to play. You can jump into a casual game or play the computer without spending anything or even making an account.

Not for casual, vs-computer, friend, or hot-seat games. You only need a free account for ranked matches, so that your Elo rating and match history can be tracked across games.

Wallz follows the well-known rules of the classic wall-and-pawn racing game: a 9×9 board with ten walls per player. It is an independent, original implementation and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any other product or publisher.

Ranked games adjust your Elo rating based on your opponent's rating and the result. Beating higher-rated players moves you up faster. The strongest ratings appear on the global leaderboard on the home page.

Yes. Wallz is built for touch and desktop equally: the same game, designed from the start to feel right on a small screen.

Choose “Play a Friend” to create a private game and share the code, or send a direct challenge to anyone on your friends list while they're online.

Yes. “Play Computer” lets you set the difficulty by Elo, from a gentle introduction up to a genuinely strong opponent. It is a good way to practice the ideas in the strategy guide.

You get a short window to reconnect and pick up exactly where you left off. If you don't make it back in time, the game is forfeited and your opponent is awarded the win.

Open your Profile page and use the Danger Zone to delete your account. Deletion removes your personal data; the Privacy Policy explains exactly what is removed and what happens to your past games.

Wallz may show ads to help keep the game free. Where ads run, we use a consent prompt in regions that require one, and you can manage your choices at any time. See the Privacy Policy for details.
